Dr. Long Li is an associate professor and master's supervisor of land resources management at School of Public Policy & Management, China University of Mining & Technology. He earned his PhD from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Belgium) in October 2016 and joined CUMT in January 2017. He also worked at the University of Portsmouth, United Kingdom as a Visiting Researcher.
Dr. Li has lectured in Remote Sensing Principles & Applications and Land Information Systems for undergraduate students and some bilingual and English courses for both master's and PhD students.
Dr. Li has published 40+ peer-reviewed research articles in internationally reputed journals in environmental and geographical sciences. He has reviewed manuscripts for 40+ journals and joined the Reviewer Boards of the SCI-index journal Remote Sensing (ISSN: 2072-4292) and SSCI-indexed journal Land (ISSN: 2073-445X). In addition, he is currently guest-editing a special issue for SCI-SSCI-indexed journal Sustainability (ISSN: 2071-1050).
