Abstract:T he facto rs influencing the ou tbu rst of coal seam are analysed based on“spherical shell lo singstab ility ”m echan ism of coal and gas ou tbu rst. T he ou tbu rst fo recast m odel of “uncovering ideal cro sscu t”is pu t fo rw ard and its fo recast indexes are studied. It is p roved by experim en ts that the expan2 sion energy of in itial releasing gas and the th ickness of soft coal seam can be u sed to fo recast ou tbu rst ac2 cu rately under the condition of“uncovering ideal cro sscu t”
