(1) Remote sensing of land resources
Both remote sensing and GIS technology are used to map urban and natural surfaces and extract information of interest from them.
(2) Land-use planning
As I worked intensively in last General Land-use Planning (2006-2020) in China, I have obtained the required theories and practical skills. I am currently researching on the environmental assessment of land-use planning using multi-source data.
(3) Natural risk assessment
This work is built on the basis of my PhD project in the filed of volcanology. By means of the natural risk assessment theories and GIS modeling, I conduct the disaster risk assessment using both spatial data and socioeconomic data.
