Dr Changbin Wang (王常彬) is research assistant at the State Key Laboratory of Coal Exploration and Intelligent Mining, China University of Mining and Technology, Xuzhou (CUMT). Dr Wang received his B.E. and M.Phil at CUMT in 2010 and 2014, respectively. In 2017, Dr Wang was awarded the scholarship by China Scholarship Council (CSC) to sponsor his PhD research under the supervision of Professor Ismet Canbulat at the University of New South Wales, Sydney (UNSW). Dr Wang defended his thesis in 2021 with outstanding research ouptputs and continue his work as a post-doc fellow at UNSW. In 2022, Dr Wang moved from Australia to China to take a faculty position at CUMT. Having been studying and working for mining industry for more than 10 years, Dr Wang determines to devote himself to explore fundamental knowledge of dynamic disasters in mines and provide industry-oriented research solutions.
