Meng Sun is an Associate Professor at the China University of Mining and Technology (CUMT). His research lies at the intersection of indoor localization, intelligent sensing, and data-driven spatial modeling, with a focus on building robust and scalable positioning systems in challenging and infrastructure-limited environments. His research aims to move beyond traditional “signal-to-position” paradigms by developing intelligent spatial inference frameworks that integrate heterogeneous sensing signals with learning-based models. The long-term goal is to enable ubiquitous, high-precision indoor localization in complex, dynamic, and previously unseen environments.
