Profile

Yuantian Sun, is a senior lecturer at the School of Mining Engineering, China University of Mining and Technology.

In 2014 and 2020, he obtained a Bachelor's degree and a Doctoral degree in Mining Engineering from China University of Mining and Technology, respectively (recommended graduate student, continuous master's and doctoral studies, excellent doctoral thesis from China University of Mining and Technology, supervised by Professor Li Guichen); From 2017 to 2018, obtained the national scholarship to study abroad (with a score of 7 in IELTS) and went to the University of Western Australia for joint doctoral training under the supervision of Professor Hakan.

Mainly engaged in research on intelligent mining and excavation, solid waste cementitious materials, underground/deep space engineering, low-carbon and carbon sequestration development, artificial intelligence and deep learning applications. Currently, have published over 60 academic papers (h-index 25), including over 30 SCI papers as the first or corresponding author, and multiple highly cited ESI papers, covering fields such as mining, civil engineering, and geotechnical engineering. Authorize more than 20 domestic and foreign invention patents. Received 2 provincial and ministerial level awards and 1 industry association award.

Hosted projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, participated in enterprise scientific and technological innovation projects, and participated in more than 10 national key research and development plans, key and general projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Guide 9 innovation training programs for college students, including 2 at the national level and 7 at the provincial level.

Currently serving as a member of the Chinese Society of Rock Mechanics and Engineering, the International Society of Rock Mechanics, and the American SME Association; Youth editorial board member of the Journal of China University of Mining and Technology, and guest editorial board member of multiple SCI journals; More than 20 SCI journal reviewers, multiple times awarded as Outstanding Reviewer of the Year; have established long-term and stable communication and connections with experts and scholars, including the University of Western Australia, the University of New South Wales, Waseda University, and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
