Profile
Associate Professor, Ph.D. (Postdoctoral), China University of Mining and Technology. He conducted a one-year academic visit to Australia. He has served as the principal investigator for one project supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China for Young Scholars, one project from the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation (General Program), one discipline frontier research project at China University of Mining and Technology, and four enterprise-sponsored research projects. His H-index is 35 (with over 3,000 citations: Bu, Xiangning - Author details - Scopus), and he was named to the 2023 “World’s Top 2% Scientists” list. He has published over 100 academic papers in domestic and international journals, including Journal of China Coal Society, Chemical Industry and Engineering Progress, Journal of Central South University, Ultrasonics Sonochemistry, Fuel, Powder Technology, and Minerals Engineering, with over 100 of these as first or corresponding author in SCI-indexed journals. He has applied for and been granted 16 Chinese national invention patents (as the first inventor on 2). He serves as an editorial board member for the SCI journal “Mineral Processing and Extractive Metallurgy Review”, guest editor for Ultrasonics Sonochemistry(a CAS Q1 Top Journal), and a youth editorial board member for the SCI journal “Minerals” and the Chinese core journal “Hydrometallurgy”. He has been invited to serve as a peer reviewer for domestic and international journals over 600 times.
