Profile

My career has focused primarily on geomechanics and fluid dynamics and their applications in underground min ing safety, carbon sequestration, and fluid mining. In the past 9 years since earning my PhD in 2015, I have pro gressed from postdoctoral researcher to full professor at China University of Mining and Technology (CUMT), in cluding a one-year research visit at the University of Wollongong, Australia. Currently, I hold the Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship for Experienced Researchers, conducting research at the Institute of Geotechnics, TU Bergakademie Freiberg in Germany.

Description of Research Group:

The team was established in 2017 by Professor Liu Qingquan and is a collective of like-minded individuals striving for excellence. The research group is based on the discipline of Safety Science and Engineering, integrating interdisciplinary fields such as Mining, Mathematics, and Computer Vision. Its primary focus is on fundamental and applied research in areas such as greenhouse gas capture and storage, intelligent testing (software and hardware development), and decision support for coal mine gas prevention and control.
